Standard Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms before confirming agreement. Iconic Smiles is a trading name of Experdental Ltd (company number 08621454). See our Privacy Notice for information about how referral data is handled.

  1. Iconic Smiles is a trading name of Experdental Ltd. The referring clinician is responsible for providing complete and accurate referral information and appropriate patient preparation.
  2. CBCT and related image services are supplied for clinical use; compatibility with every computer system or third-party workflow cannot be guaranteed.
  3. A clinically adequate justification is required for every CBCT exposure in accordance with IR(ME)R 2017 and the 2024 amendments.
  4. Referrals are accepted from registered dental surgeons. Iconic Smiles may decline a referral where the request, preparation or available information is insufficient.
  5. The prescriber remains responsible for arranging appropriate interpretation and reporting of radiographs and CBCT scans and for ensuring they are competent and appropriately trained to do so.
  6. A consultant radiologist report is not provided as part of the standard Iconic Smiles CBCT service.
  7. Image delivery is normally undertaken as promptly as practicable, but equipment failure, workload or incomplete referral information can cause delay. Avoid arranging a patient results appointment until the images have been received.
  8. Iconic Smiles is not responsible for consequential loss arising from delays or from incomplete/incorrect information supplied with the referral.
